The restaurant to review today is the called Yong Haemultang (Dragon Seafood Soup). They have been getting a lot attention from the Cheongnadians because of their fresh seafood soup. It is located in front of Hanwha Dream & Green apartment and Paris Baguette. For people who live near, this is a perfect restaurant to walk to and is very convenient for simple outing dinner.
The first thing to notice was the clean aquarium in front that consisted of various types of seafood. Entering the restaurant, customers were visited with a clean and cozy interior. It had many tables to sit with your legs crossed, and the warm and clean atmosphere already gave a good impression of the restaurant even before the food arrived. In addition to the great interior, they also offered Wi-Fi, which was very useful while waiting for food, especially for teens who usually go out for dinner with their families.
Moving on to the food, there were not many choices offered on the menu but the amount they served and the taste made up for it. Being called the Yong Haemultang, their main menu was Haemulatang (seafood soup), but there were other main menus as well, like Agujjim. The prices were pretty decent for the amount they served. They served a whole pot filled with various types of seafood. Some people might say, “quality over quantity.” Their quality did not fail either since the soup was amazing and the ingredients seemed fresh. The soup was not too spicy but not too plain either. It was just the right amount even for those who could not eat spicy food. Also, they re-filled the delicious side dishes consistently. In addition, take out was also available, which is very convenient for those who prefer to eat at home.
In conclusion, the price was worth both qualitatively and quantitatively. Also, the interior and the convenience of the restaurant were impressive, making the experience in the restaurant better. However, it seemed like the food was not for everybody, especially the foreigners, but more for the manias. So out of 5 stars, I would give 4 stars.
